There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Culture Shock is an event that is a celebration of the cultural heritages that come from students of many different backgrounds. It is a performance event open to the public and it is expected to draw a large crowd of hundreds of guests. The event is truly multiethnic in nature – student organizations will be collaborating to display rich cultural traditions in forms of artistic expression. The event will also feature a sampling of ethnic foods for the participants to enjoy. Additionally, all funds generated from the show will be donated to the GK Foundation, which helps builds communities for impoverished families in the Philippines.
