Full Summary: Six final teams are competing for $35,000 in prizes!

The InVenture Prize @ Georgia Tech is an innovation competition for undergraduate students at Georgia Tech. Students can work independently or in teams to develop and present inventions, which will be judged by experts. Up to 8 inventions will be selected from Preliminary Rounds to advance to the Final Round. In the Final Round, two inventions will be selected as winners.

The expert judges will meet the inventors on stage before a live audience and an audience of both television and internet viewers. Afterward, judges will meet in private to evaluate the inventors on the 5 criteria. A score will be assigned to each category for each invention. The sum total score will be assigned and the winner ($20,000) and runner-up selected ($10,000). Fans will also vote for their favorite team to be the recipient of the People's Choice Award ($5,000). Doors close at 7:15 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. live broadcast of the event.
