There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Last fall, the Alumni Association commissioned 25 5-foot-tall Buzz sculptures to display around campus in celebration of their 100th anniversary.
Alumni, students and campus sponsors were paired with talented local artists who helped translate their unique vision of Tech onto our beloved mascot. From May 15 to May 22, the Alumni Association is auctioning off 20 of these Buzz sculptures. This marks the end of the Association's centennial celebration and raises money for Tech with auction proceeds supporting various Georgia Tech organizations.
