Carol Senf's essay, "Bram Stoker: Ireland and beyond" examines Stoker novels and their sense of place. However, the entire collection examines the fact that Dracula is world famous while his other writings are virtually unknown. This collection addresses that gap and takes into account of the full extent of his writing. The collection assesses Stoker’s relationship to late 19th-century Ireland and especially Dublin, and address his status as an ‘Irish’ writer of substance.
