Graduate Students preparing for a career? Need advice? Want to confirm your career path? What do employers think about internships?

Learn valuable career and job search tips from GT alumni and recruiters.

Attend the first session at 9:30 learn the how to make professional connections at conferences, professional meeting and in social settings. Practice how to interact, feel comfortable and creating long-term professional connections and practice the skills in each session following.

Second Session Round Table Discussion 10:45 – noon: Meet with alumni one-on-one to hear about specific jobs, the importance of mentoring, and how to integrate in to a new job or lab and many other topics

12:20-4:30:  Select from nine panels focusing on early, advanced students seeking industry, government, or academic positions. Hear from successful alumni and hiring managers. Get inside tips on selecting a career path, utilizing transferable skills and what matters in the job search.
