First-year students and graduating seniors will soon be asked for honest, candid, and anonymous feedback about their time at Tech through the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE).
The NSSE is administered at four-year institutions around the country to collect information about participation in programs and activities provided for student learning, academic engagement, and personal development. The goal of the research study is to give faculty and staff information that will help them identify programs and areas for improvement.
The Office of Assessment encourages all first-year and senior students to complete this survey to make the data as accurate as possible.
Students who are classified as first-years or graduating seniors with the Office of the Registrar will receive an email from Colin Potts, vice provost for undergraduate education, with a personalized survey link on Tuesday, Feb. 18. The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. Those who submit responses by Wednesday, April 30, will be entered into a drawing to receive one of five $25 campus retail gift cards. Participation in the survey is not required to win.
