There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Join us for Celebrating Teaching Day 2014 to learn about new practices faculty are using to improve student learning. This event will include poster presentations, honors, awards and a luncheon presentation.
We have many great teachers at Georgia Tech. One characteristic that these faculty share is a willingness to take risks. Some move beyond their comfort zones in order to become more accessible to students. Others redesign their courses in ways that break with tradition and student expectations. Although not all teaching risks initially succeed, the best instructors continue to work with their students to improve their course experience. Come hear in a luncheon Pecha Kucha how faculty representing every college at Georgia Tech are Taking Risks to Build Connections that Help Students Learn.
