About the Global Social Venture Competition:

Founded in 1999 by students at U.C. Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, The GSVC is a student-run program that seeks to provide aspiring social entrepreneurs with mentoring, exposure, and prize money to transform their business ideas into positive real-world impact. Since its inception, the competition has grown to become a truly global endeavor: premier business schools in the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Africa all participate and in 2013, GSVC received 650 entries from nearly 40 countries.

The Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship is leading the GSVC team at Georgia Tech as the Regional Partner for the Southeast/Eastern Region in the United States. Learn more.
