Ries to be Invited Participant at NSF/Bentley College Workshop

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. Dr. Ries is an invited participant and panel leader for the NSF/Bentley College workshop entitled "The Social, Economic and Workforce Implications of Big Data Analysis and Decision-Making" held in Washington D.C. January 30 and 31.  The workshop will bring together policy makers and subject matter experts representing a range of relevant disciplines and perspectives, including computer science, economics, social sciences, and philosophy.

The goal of the workshop is development of an agenda for research on the Social, Economic and Workforce consequences of Big Data to mobilize research momentum in this important area.
