There are many professional development opportunities available to Georgia Tech's administrative professionals.
A minimum of $300 is set aside specifically for training for each administrative professional within each department. There is also the potential for additional funds if the individual department budget allows.
Training opportunities can be found through Tech's Office of Human Resources trains.gatech.edu, Georgia Tech Learning Series www.ohr.gatech.edu/learning, and the Course Catalog which has a complete breakdown of free and nominal cost certification programs. If group training is desired, there is the possibility of this being funded by the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs.
