Full Summary:

No summary paragraph submitted.

The Institute for Electronics and Nanotechnology's NNIN Education and Outreach Office at Georgia Tech provides educational outreach to K-12 students and teachers, undergraduate and graduate students, adult professionals, and the general public in the Greater Atlanta area. NNIN's goals are to ensure a nano-literate public in Georgia and to encourage students to pursue education and careers in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, and particular in nanotechnology.

Late last year, NNIN teamed up with the Tellus Science Museum, a Smithsonian affiliated 120,000 square foot museum located in Cartersville Georgia, to educate about nanotechnology using a common but fascinating material, sand.
