There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Institute for Materials' Student Advisory Council invites you to attend this half-day symposium that explores collaborative materials research in core areas of the national Materials Genome Initiative (MGI), including computing and electronics, transportation, mobility, and infrastructure; medicine and health; energy generation, storage, and sustainability.
Researchers will present on collaborations in the above mentioned categories, and will facilitate panel discussions on the same topics. The symposium will conclude with a graduate student poster session and networking mixer from 5:00-7:30 pm. Graduate students involved in collaborative materials research efforts are encouraged to submit posters for consideration. Each submission should be no more than 250 words and include the names of at least two principal investigators, at least one of whom must be affiliated with Georgia Tech. Abstracts in core areas must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. Friday, Jan 24, 2014. Please submit your abstract through the link provided below.
