Reconnect with your colleagues, meet new faces, and learn about research and project opportunities for 2014.  Breakout sessions will cover new research programs, upcoming seed grant and other funding opportunities, available lab resources and project opportunities for students.  Afterwards, stay for our networking reception at 4 p.m. and meet new faculty and staff members.

1-1:45 Plenary Session      
IPaT highlights for FY14 thus far and an overview of the upcoming semester. Includes: major events, new partnerships, seed grant opportunities and more.

2-2:45 Breakout Sessions 1      
Opportunities for Students: Learn about research and project opportunities plus the 2014 Convergence Innovation Competition.   

IPaT Faculty Membership: What are the rights, responsibilities and resources available to "IPaT Faculty?"

Industry Partnership Opportunities: What companies are we working with today?  Who should be on the target list?  What about other "industry" players including government, non-profits and foundations?     

Health IT Research Infrastructure: Learn about new resources available to Health IT researchers included protected data support, HIE, EHR and PHR technologies, mobile computing and computing in the home.

3-3:45  Breakout Sessions 2      
Community Engagement: GT is working with many local community groups.  Come learn about the support for those engagement and new project opportunities.
      
STEM Incubator: Come learn about a new initiative at GT to create an incubator for STEM education research.

Aging Task Force Initiative: Hear about this task force that has brought together research in aging and disability plus a newly funded national center at GT.

CDAIT: Internet of Things: Help build a new research center focused on the on the fast-growing Internet of Things market with Georgia Tech.

Pediatric Research with Children's Healthcare: Opportunities abound for research in pediatric healthcare.  Meet the key folks supporting these programs and learn about funding opportunities.
