Six College of Computing professors recently joined the fellows rank for several of the most prestigious science, engineering and computing associations.
The American Association of the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) all announced the Class of 2014 slate of fellows.
Among the new fellows are:
“I congratulate each and every one of these new fellows as these appointments illustrate the stature and respect the College of Computing faculty – particularly these professors – holds among the computer science computing; there are few greater honors,” said Dean Zvi Galil. “The real beneficiaries are our students, who benefit from these professors’ wisdom, guidance and expertise every semester.”
