An original research paper by Professor Matthew E. Oliver has been accepted for publication in Water Policy, the official journal of the World Water Council. The paper, entitled “Linking Zebra Mussel Invasion and Waterborne Commerce in the U.S.”, is an econometric analysis measuring the impact of interstate commercial navigation on the spread of the zebra mussel, an invasive species to North America. Water Policy is an international forum for cross-disciplinary research and policy debate on water and water-related resources, inviting contributions from policy, finance, economics, management, as well as the hard sciences.
