Full Summary: Dr. Shatakshee Dhongde has organized an interdisciplinary panel on Economic Development: Post Millennium Development Goals. The panel will be addressed by Drs. Barbara Lynch (INTA) and Ruth Uwaifo-Oyelere (ECON) and will host a guest lecture by Dr. Suman Seth who is a Research Officer with Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative at the Oxford University, U.K. 

Dr. Shatakshee Dhongde has organized an interdisciplinary panel on Economic Development: Post Millennium Development Goals. The panel will be addressed by Drs. Barbara Lynch (INTA) and Ruth Uwaifo-Oyelere (ECON) and will host a guest lecture by Dr. Suman Seth who is a Research Officer with Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative at the Oxford University, U.K. Dr. Seth has served as a consultant to the Regional Bureau of Latin America and the Caribbean, the United Nations Development Program, the Development Research Groups at the World Bank, and the Asian Development Bank. He will discuss problems associated with measuring poverty in the post-2015 framework. The event is open to all interested and will be held on Thursday, November 21st, 2013 from 12.05 to 1.25 pm in room 104, D.M. Smith Building.
