There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. As streetcars make a comeback in the United States, Dr. Catherine Ross, a professor at Georgia Tech's School of City and Regional Planning and Director of the Center Quality Growth and Regional Development (CQGRD), believes the Atlanta Streecar will help address congestion in the southern metropolis. "We have these ebbs and flows, right? And we don't have an ability to sort of relieve some of that pressure. I think the streetcar will be able to do that," Ross says.
