GIS Day: Map and Poster Competition

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Submit GIS work from your studies to the GIS Day map competition! Prizes will be awarded to the winner of the following categories: 

  • Cartography
  • Applied GIS

This year's contest is open to all current studetns and MCRP alumni. Gallery viewers can vote on their favorite maps.

Submission Guidelines:

  1. Please deliver printed submissions by November 18 to TOny Giarrusso at CGIS, Kait Morano, or Taylor Tyger
  2. Submission should be no larger than 36" x 48" and no smaller than 17" (width or length)
  3. For submissions with multiple authors (e.g. studios, conference posters), please list all contributors.
