The symposium, which took place on October 19 and was organized by professor Daniel Robin (GSU), followed a showing of Free Fall by Forgács. The symposium included Navarro as well as film scholars Bill Nichols (San Francisco State University), Michael Renov (University of Southern California), Jennifer Barker (GSU), and Péter Forgács himself.
