The 2013 Annual Meeting of the Academy of International Business Southeast USA Chapter (AIB-SE) will be held in Atlanta, Georgia on October 25 – October 28, 2013 and will gather scholars, graduate and undergraduate students as well as business practitioners.

The 2013 conference theme is “Innovation, Institutions and Emerging Markets”. The conference will feature interactive and competitive paper sessions, panel discussions on and around the annual theme, a doctoral student consortium and meet-the-editors session, a journal paper development workshop, and several social networking events including the annual cocktail reception, dinner gala and award ceremony and annual luncheon.

On this occasion, and under the annual France-Atlanta 2013 umbrella, a roundtable discussion open to the public will be dedicated to the negotiation of free trade agreement project between the European Union and the United States and its possible impacts in the U.S. Southeast.

A great deal is at stake with respect to such an agreement. The United States is the EU’s most important partner. Together, the EU and the United States represent almost half of global GDP, 25% of exports and 32% of imports.
