There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The saying goes "If you aren't failing, you aren't trying hard enough." Failure is unavoidable. Learning to deal with it is essential. Mr. Fillingim will discuss how dealing with failures, both large and small, are shaping his career.
Bio:
Mr. Fillingim currently serves as Fellow at Fusion-io (NYSE:FIO), engineering their next generation storage memory platform and award-winning products such as the ioDrive, a revolutionary solid state technology that dramatically increases bandwidth, reduces latency, improves reliability, and simplifies IT infrastructure.
Mr. Fillingim holds a Masters of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering (MSECE) as well as a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (BEE), both from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
