There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Office of Human Resources will host a campus information session about open enrollment and the 2014 benefit plans. This year’s open enrollment period—Monday, November 11 to Friday, November 22—features new vendors and new plan options.
Starting in January 2014, all University System of Georgia colleges and universities will offer the same nonmedical benefits (currently each institution offers its own selection), which includes supplemental life insurance, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability, and flexible spending and health savings accounts. Because of these changes, all employees must re-enroll during open enrollment to select the benefit options of their choice.
