There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Awarded the 1981 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his work on chemical reaction theory, Roald Hoffmann is a poet and playwright whose work has explored subjects from the Holocaust to the World of Chemistry.
His recent co-authored works include “Roald Hoffmann on the Philosophy, Art, and Science of Chemistry,” and “Beyond the Finite: The Sublime in Art and Science.”
Please join us on Wednesday, October 16th in the Auditorium of the Architecture Building on the Georgia Tech Campus as Roald Hoffmann reads from his selected works and comments on science and poetry. The reading is 3-4pm with a reception to follow. This event is open to the public.
Dr. Hoffmann will be lecturing on his work in chemistry at Georgia Tech's Theoretical Chemistry Day on Tues. October 15th.
