Prof. Tibor Besedes spent the week of September 30 visiting the World Bank in Washington, DC. He is collaborating with a World Bank researcher on a project examining effects of temporary trade barriers (antidumping duties, countervailing duties, and safeguards) on various aspects of international trade. He also had a front row view of the federal government shutdown.
