Members of the Georgia Tech community who are responsible for hosting campus visitors, planning events as part of their current job, or who are interested in the event industry are encouraged to attend the Event Coordinators' Network 5th Annual Workshop: Protocol for University Professionals.

Guest keynote speaker Abby Turano, chief protocol officer for the State of Georgia, will discuss the importance of protocol and its use in her daily job operations. During subsequent sessions, participants will have the opportunity to choose among several educational breakout sessions focused on international visits, gift giving, flag protocol, social media, and other event protocol topics. In addition to educational sessions, the workshop will also contain a vendor showcase, specially designed meals from several of Georgia Tech’s preferred caterers, and opportunities to network with fellow event professionals and colleagues.

Visit Special Events & Protocol for additional information about the Event Coordinators' Network and a glimpse of the workshop agenda. Registration is now open and will close on Friday, November 8, 2013.
