Rick Jacobs case of writer's block, the audience sees four figments of his imagination play out the opening scene of his next murder mystery. Hilarity ensues as he imagines figments of his house guests and family: next door neighbor Loni, with whom he is hopelessly in love, his overbearing mother, and his dead father, who takes the form of a talking burial urn.
