There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Third-year Brittain Fellow John Harkey recently published his first chapbook of poetry with Little Red Leaves' (LRL) Textile  Series, which publishes small-run, handmade books using scrap fabrics: http://www.textileseries.com/the-shelf/2013-titles/26-mask-work-by-john-harkey/.

He also learned of an interesting coincidence: the woman who runs the LRL Textile Series---that is, selects, edits, designs, sews, and distributes ALL the books---is Dawn Pendergast, a STAC alum! Here's a link to her blog: http://www.whatbirdsgiveup.com/.
