There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. FirstGen, a campus organization that focuses on First Generation college students, will host Shadow Day on Friday, Oct. 18. Students from local high schools will come to see what a day in the life of a college student is like and learn about the importance of attending college.
They will need student volunteers throughout the event to help with "shadowing," where the high school students will follow the Georgia Tech volunteers to their classes and around campus. If you are interested, please look under the "Get Involved" tab at www.firstgen.gtorg.gatech.edu.
