There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Harnessing the economic power of the future Falcons stadium in order to create jobs for lower income residents of nearby neighborhoods has received little attention to date. Professor of Practice Mike Dobbins at Georgia Tech's School of City Planning oversees studies of the stadium neighborhoods in his studios at Georgia Tech and contends that the process is less than transparent and less than productive in terms of providing opportunities to low income residents.
