Dr. Robert A. Pape is Professor of Political Science at the University of Chicago where he directs the Chicago Project on Security and Terrorism. Dr. Pape's past work has focused on the use of coercive air power, the effectiveness of sanctions, the causes of suicide terrorism, and the politics of unipolarity.
