There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Full Summary:

The Roe E. Stamps Turf Field Renovation project is behind schedule due to rain. This summer (May - July) we've had 2.5 times more rain (a total of 23.5") than we've had in the past two years! These large amounts of rainfall have slowed down the installation of the water retention system and turf field replacement project. Our construction team is working hard to complete the project as quickly as possible but it is our plan to re-open the turf fields by Spring Semester 2014.

This semester, Fall Intramurals will look a little different. Without the Turf Fields available for fall sports, we've moved many of our spring sports to fall and fall to spring. This way, students will get all of the same sports in an academic calendar that they would normally get. Only two sports are currently not offered this year: softball and 4x4 flag football. We are looking for other options to be able to offer these sports.  Click here for more information on Intramurals.
