There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Into the Streets (ITS) is a one-day community service event hosted by MOVE where hundreds of incoming freshmen work on service projects throughout the city.

The purpose of ITS is to introduce Tech freshmen to the many service opportunities both with MOVE and with organizations outside of Tech, while also having fun, meeting new people and making friends. Volunteers are provided breakfast and lunch.

Project signup is online at move.gatech.edu/intothestreets and closes Thursday, Aug. 22, at 5 p.m.

Participation in Into the Streets is limited to freshmen students, but upperclassmen may find out more about service opportunities with MOVE at move.gatech.edu.
