There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

SpaceUp Atlanta is a space unconference, where participants decide the topics, schedule, and structure of the event. Unconferences have been held about technology, science, transit, and even cupcakes, but this is the first one focused on space exploration, science, STEM and anything about space.
SpaceUp Atlanta 2013 is honored to announce that Professor Robert Braun, former NASA Chief Technologist, will hold a town hall meeting at the event this year.
Everyone who attends SpaceUp is encouraged to give a talk, moderate a panel, or start a discussion. You will be amazed at what comes out of SpaceUp. We hope to gather students, teachers, space professionals, and enthusiasts in the greater Atlanta region to foster a grassroots space community.
To sign up for our event by Sept. 25, please visit: spaceupatl.eventbrite.com. We’ll provide you with lunch, snacks and drinks so you don’t have to worry about eating. We want you to focus on talking about space all day long, and all this for only $20. Plus, we’ll throw in free t-shirts and some freebies you can take home to remind you how much fun it was. Make sure to register early because late/onsite registration will be $30.
