There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. As part of the Fall Teaching Kickoff, Joyce Weinsheimer of the Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning will present a session on how faculty can create a climate for learning that will help professors achieve their course goals and enjoy the process.
Faculty members are encourage to share their challenges — and find out about specific instructional policies and practices that will improve their students' learning. Lunch will be served before the workshop at noon.
