Georgia Tech Grad Develops Alternative Photo Sharing Application, Pressgram

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. John Saddington, a graduate of the School of Literature, Media, and Communication, has developed "a new iPhone application that he says will rival Instagram and is better for bloggers. It's called Pressgram."  His new software is discussed in an article on CBS Atlanta, and he explains that "he developed it so people can keep ownership of their pictures."  Source:  CBS Atlanta, July 22, 2013.
