There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Georgia Battlefields Association President and Tech Alum Charlie Crawford will host a tour of major Civil War sites on the Georgia Tech campus on Thursday July 25 from 10-11:45am. The tour will commence at the Fox Theatre on Peachtree Street and will end at the Habersham Building on west campus. All are invited to join the tour. For those intending to ride MARTA, the Fox Theatre is adjacent to MARTA's North Avenue station. The Tech Trolley has a pickup site on Ferst Drive near the Habersham Building, and its circuit includes the Midtown MARTA station on Tenth Street. This tour is hosted by Professor Sy Goodman and by Graduate Student John Miller as part of the curriculum for this semester's offering of Military History of the Civil War HTS/INTA 3823.
