There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Marilyn Brown, professor in the School of Public Policy, and Valerie Thomas, associate professor in both the H. Milton Steward School of Industrial and Systems Engineering and the School of Public Policy collaborated in a study that found "that all in all, the life-cycle energy use and GHG emissions of the electric truck are lower than that of the diesel truck, particularly for the frequent stop and low average speed (NYCC- and OCTA-type) drive cycles."
