There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Engineered Biosystems Building at Georgia Tech will provide 200,000 square feet of multidisciplinary research space to accommodate expansion of the Institute's biomedical research enterprise. Integrating faculty and students primarily from the Colleges of Sciences and Engineering and organizing them into research neighborhoods, the facility will provide infrastructure for research focused on understanding disease and improving human health through an interdisciplinary approach to complex living systems. It will enhance existing partnerships with researchers at institutions including Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, and it will have a significant economic impact through new research awards and the commercialization of technologies, therapies, and devices developed within.
