There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Professor Younan Xia has been selected to receive the 2013 Nano Today Award. The award recognizes pioneering research in the field of nanostructured materials.
Xia is the Brock Family Chair and Georgia Research Alliance (GRA) Eminenent Scholar in Nanomedicine at Georgia Tech and holds joint appointments in the The Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering, the School of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering, and the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
At the Nano Today Conference, which will take place December 8-11, 2013, in Biopolis, Singapore, Xia will hold a plenary lecture and will be presented with the award at the conference banquet.
