Full Summary: Graduate students and post-docs, along with undergraduates and faculty members, are invited to attend this workshop on interactive teaching.

The Georgia Tech Student Chapter of the American Society for Engineering Education (GT-ASEE) will host this workshop to introduce participants to non-traditional teaching methods and illustrate the effective application of these methods in the classroom.

This 5-hour workshop will introduce novice instructors to:

  1. Situational factors that affect student learning.
  2. Collaborative learning techniques that utilize this information and provide the students with an effective learning environment.
  3. Examples of classrooms at Georgia Tech that have utilized these instructional methods.

Co-hosted by the College of Engineering and the Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning, this event is free and lunch will be provided. RSVP online.
