Binita Patel, a student majoring in International Affairs and Modern Languages, is a recipient of a Possible Woman Foundation International Scholarship.
Patel was nominated by Stephanie Jackson, assistant director of undergraduate advising and professional development in The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, citing Patel's diverse experience in youth education and leadership development as she works toward improving the educational system in Latin America.
The foundation provides scholarships for women to pursue nontraditional roles or occupations and to connect them with women trailblazers in these industries. PWFI presented its first scholarships in 2010.
