Cycle Atlanta's City Impact

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. "It's the first time the city has asked cyclists how it could make their ride better and invested so much effort to do so," reports Kate Sweeney, discussing Cycle Atlanta, an app that allows bicyclists to report road conditions to government officials. The app was created by Christopher Le Dantec, assistant professor in the School of Literature, Media, and Communication, and Kari Watkins, assistant professor in the College of Engineering.
