This prestigious honor is awarded to NIRSA (National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association) member institutions for their innovative and impactful recreation facilities that help provide students a desirable and valuable college experience.

This prestigious honor is awarded to NIRSA (National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association) member institutions for their innovative and impactful recreation facilities that help provide students a desirable and valuable college experience. An award winning facility must demonstrate excellence in functionality and architectural design as well as fulfill its programming objectives. Given that research links strong recreational programs and facilities with overall student satisfaction, this award is a testament to Georgia Tech’s continuing efforts to provide the highest quality experience for its students.
