Full Summary: The Strategic Energy Institute (SEI) will host a panel and Q&A session on Thursday, April 4, 2013, for faculty interested in applying for ARPA-E awards. Georgia Tech faculty members have been exceptionally successful in competing for ARPA-E funding, and the institute is one of the top recipients of these awards. The seminar, led by a panel of Georgia Tech awardees from various departments, will provide best practices and insights into successful preparation of ARPA-E proposals, followed by open questions and answer time. Attendees are encouraged to join the panelists and others for a networking reception immediately following the workshop.Panelists include:David Sholl, Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering and Associate Director of the Strategic Energy Institute, Srinivas Garimella, Mechanical Engineering and Director, Sustainable Thermal Systems Laboratory, Asegun Henry, Mechanical Engineering and former ARPA-E Fellow, and Mark Allen, Electrical and Computer Engineering and Director, Institute of Electronics & Nanotechnology.Interested faculty (and research engineers) may register for this panel session by March 27, with an RSVP to: CNES@gatech.edu
