Georgia Tech Professional Education will host an open house for the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certificate program on April 18, 2013 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Georgia Tech-Savannah. The session will provide participants an opportunity to learn more about the course and its benefits.
The Green Belt program will be held May 13-17, 2013 at Georgia Tech-Savannah, and is one of the first Lean Six Sigma courses to be offered in the region this year. It is a joint effort between Georgia Tech Professional Education and the Scheller College of Business, which ranks as one of the top business schools in the country.
Instructor Lee Campe, a practicing Master Black Belt in Six Sigma, will be present to answer questions and give insight into why Lean Six Sigma is one of the most popular certifications in the country. Companies such as Toyota, Motorola and General Electric utilize the process in order to recognize inefficiencies, improve processes and save money.
The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt program is an introductory course and is open to all levels of experience. This course is a required step in pursuit of a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification. Refreshments will be provided.
