There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Stephen E. Cross, PhD, was named Georgia Tech’s executive vice president for research in 2010. In this role, he is responsible for the Institute’s $655 million-per-year research program, which is ranked among the largest of U.S. colleges and universities without a medical school.
Georgia Tech's research enterprise is evolving to better support existing Georgia Tech basic and applied research activities and facilitate the expansion of both government and industry supported research. Cross will visit with faculty and staff to discuss Georgia Tech’s research strategy and what the development of a Georgia Tech-driven innovation ecosystem could mean for faculty, students, sponsors and industry partners - as well as the state, national and global economy.
There will also be plenty of time to ask questions. To review Cross' research strategy, please see related links below.
NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE VISITOR SPACES IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING.
