From February 21 to February 23, nine members of the Communication Center staff gave presentations at the annual Southeastern Writing Center Association conference held at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. SWCA brings in scholars and teachers from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
Allison Braden and Lauren Townsend, both GT Undergraduates, received Presidential Undergraduate Research Award (PURA) travel stipends for their work.
