The Division of Student Affairs will be saying "goodbye" to three instrumental staff members who have contributed greatly to the Division's mission and who's programs have assisted thousands of Georgia Tech students.
Ralph Mobley, director of Career Services has recently accepted the position of executive director of University Partnerships for Recsolu, an up-and-coming technology company that produces software designed to improve recruitment processes. The Division, along with many others, is quite grateful for Ralph's contributions to helping our talented students find and secure meaningful employment opportunities. Ralph has been at Tech as the director of Career Services for more than 13 years and has done an extraordinary job moving Career Services forward. Ralph will be leaving Georgia Tech on March 15.
Kevin Stacia, career specialist for Career Services, is also leaving the Division of Student Affairs. However, Kevin will fortunately only be moving a few blocks away to the Scheller College of Business MBA Career Center where he will be the program manager for corporate relations. Kevin has made significant contributions in his 3 years at Career Services which include implementing enhancements to Resume Blitz and Mock Interview Week, as well as managing the liaison program with the College of Business and overall employer relations operations.
Bethany Naser, assistant dean and director of New Student & Sophomore Programs is also leaving Georgia Tech to pursue a career opportunity at the University of South Carolina (in Columbia, SC) as their director of Orientation and Testing Services. In her new role, she will be assisting USC in developing a new orientation model for incoming students and their families. Bethany is also excited about the opportunity to pursue a terminal degree in higher education while at USC. Bethany deserves much credit for her dedication over the past 5 years to the FASET Orientation Program as well as launching the newly redesigned Office of New Students & Sophomore Programs. She leaves Georgia Tech having created a solid foundation that the next director can build upon.
