There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The search committee has identified three candidates as finalists for dean of the College of Sciences. The first is Dr. Paul Goldbart, professor and chair of Georgia Tech's School of Physics.
Dr. Goldbart will be a guest of the Institute on February 26-27 to discuss his vision for sciences at Georgia Tech. A public presentation is planned for Tuesday, February 26, at 11 a.m. in room 236 of the Global Learning Center. Participants are invited to stay for an informal reception with the candidate following the presentation in Conference Room A of the Georgia Tech Hotel.
The remaining candidates will be announced in the coming days. More information on the candidates, archived video presentations, and feedback forms will be available as they are announced.
