There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Thomas Lodato (PhD student, DM) will be participating in the Atlanta Govathon February 22 & 23, in Atlanta. The Govathon is a 2-day event to bring together people "to help solve problems that affect the local government and the community." (http://govathon.com/). Participation in the Govathon is part of ongoing research that Lodato and faculty member Carl DiSalvo are doing that investigates hackathons as ad-hoc design events.
